Free tickets for carers

We offer complimentary tickets for personal assistants and support workers. As standard, our wheelchair user positions and ambulant seats come with one free ticket.

For wheelchair bookings where one complimentary seat is required, book online via this website, using the ‘Seated’ seat map view to select a wheelchair space.

If you need to book an accessible seat, you can let us know you require this during the booking process by ticking the box next to ‘A member of my party has accessibility requirements’ while adding tickets to your basket and providing details – we’ll do all we can to accommodate your request. We do not request any evidence for personal assistant ticket bookings.

If however you don’t require a personal assistant or support worker in order to attend, or need assistance with your booking, then please let us know by emailing access@roundhouse.org.uk.

Main Space Wheelchair Access

For a standard gig there are specific spaces for wheelchair users in our seated area on level 2, but wheelchair users can also use our general admission area on level 1. We also have a number of ambulant accessible seats on Level 2, however the availability of seats that have minimal steps is limited.

For level 1 seated performances there are additional wheelchair user spaces depending on the configuration (see seat map for details).

In standing-only shows, wheelchair users are able to gain early access by prior arrangement, and we will endeavour to find a suitable position in the space for audience members who require this. Please let us know in advance by emailing access@roundhouse.org.uk if you would like to arrange this.

Studio Theatre Wheelchair Access

In our Studio Theatre, we have a number of wheelchair spaces that are reserved until the performance sells out, at which point they will be released for general sale.

For promenade performances, wheelchair users are free to move through the areas and are asked to make themselves known to the duty manager, before the doors open. The duty manager will arrange priority entry and be able to advise from where it is best to watch the event.

FUERZA BRUTA ACCESS INFORMATION

Performances of Aven by Fuerza Bruta have unreserved tickets with no seats. Wheelchair users can access the main audience space through the main doors, with all other audience members. The audience are invited to move during the show and if comfortable to do so, wheelchair users can also move with the flow of people. Alternatively, see below if you would like to remain in one position. 

AT THE CHECKOUT: If you are a wheelchair user and wish to have a designated space away from the main crowd, please book your standing tickets as standard on the website and at the checkout stage select ‘I or a member of my party has an access requirement’ and detail your request for a designated space. The space will be slightly to the side, staffed and demarked from the main audience but not a raised platform.

If you require a free companion, you may also request this at the checkout by selecting ‘I or a member of my party has access requirement’ and a member of our team will be in touch with you to organise.

PLEASE NOTE: During the checkout process, there is information displayed which refers to wheelchair spaces on the Level 2 balcony – this information is not applicable for the Fuerza Bruta performances because the Level 2 balcony area will not be open. 

Please note that this is an unseated show but for those who do not think they will be able to stand for the whole duration, you can request a seat that is slightly to the side within the space, staffed and demarked from the main audience. To request a seat, please book your standing tickets as standard on the website and at the checkout stage, select “I or a member of my party has access requirement” and detail your request for a seat.
